FAQs

A mailing list is a distribution list for emails. An email sent to the mailing list reaches all subscribers. The “Hearing and Communication Network” mailing list functions similarly to a newsletter.

The mailing list aims to connect all individuals working in the field of hearing and communication across different disciplines. This allows us to quickly and easily provide you with the latest information.

The mailing list is aimed at anyone who works with deaf and hard-of-hearing children, young people, and/or adults. Target groups include teachers, (school) psychologists, school social workers, therapists, speech therapists, school principals, university lecturers, people working in the fields of sport and culture, and students from Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.

Content relating to the following categories is the focus of communication:

  • Teaching,
  • Education,
  • Sign language,
  • Research,
  • Publications,
  • Sports events,
  • Cultural events,
  • Peer group meetings,
  • Job vacancies,
  • Child protection.

These are divided in the newsletter according to whether they are relevant nationwide or specific to a particular federal state.

Any topics of a private or commercial nature (e.g., inquiries about apartments, sale of used (school) materials) will not be distributed via the mailing list.

You have the option of sending your request directly to Markus Keil. The messages will be collected and sent to the members of the mailing list as a PDF document via email.

When submitting written contributions, please observe the following formal requirements:
